Blue Q
These recycled polypropylene shoppers for Blue Q were created from an archive of vintage European alphabets, labels and patterns, as was the packaging for People Candy.
Polaner
The pattern on the this label was a reference to i trulli, the distinctive cone-shaped huts of the Puglia region.
A fruity white from the Veneto meets a robust red from the Abruzzi in this series of labels for Polaner Selections.
The label design for this robust Sicilian red was influenced by early twentieth-century Italian poster designs. And the custom capsule was just the right shade of red-orange to set it off.
Monarchia Matt
An apty named wine, Sfida is Italian for “challenge.” Despite an inordinate amount of required copy for the front label, the design was turned into a celebration of 30s-style typography.
Can typography be effervescent? Certo! And this Terrazzo Prosecco, from the Veneto region of Italy, imported by Monarchia Matt, tastes as good as it looks—senza dubbio.
The brand for Bosco del Grillo, a lusty Chianti Classico imported by Monarchia Matt, is a modern interpretation of 19th century Italian and French label design.
Bartlett
The Bartletts were determined to make wine in Maine, in spite of the climate. The result: wines made from every fruit except the grape; hence, the botanical labels.
Aqua Forte
The only bottled water produced by a dentist, Aqua Forte is natural spring water with added fluoride for a dazzling smile.
